2024 Subaru Crosstrek Redesign

The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek has been redesigned with new exterior and interior looks. The first engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that makes 152 horsepower. It comes standard with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive for adventuring power and has a standard automatic continuously variable transmission (CVT) for smooth acceleration on any surface. With this engine, the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek can deliver up to an EPA-estimated 27/34 MPG (City/Highway).¹

The other engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that outputs 182 horsepower. The 30 horses make a difference: This version of the new Subaru Crosstrek is faster off the starting line and performs better on the highway than the entry-level model. The 2.5-liter configuration gets up to an EPA-estimated 26/33 MPG (City/Highway).¹

While the previous Subaru Crosstrek had a hybrid 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and battery-and-motor system, the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek is not yet available in hybrid form. This previously available powertrain option boasted 148 horsepower and delivered an EPA-estimated 90 MPGe (Combined).¹ We believe that a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid may debut by the end of the year.

The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek has a spacious interior in which your whole family will be comfortable. The front-seat riders have 39.8 inches of headroom (without the sunroof on some trims) and 42.9 inches of legroom. Folks in the back enjoy 38 inches of headroom (without the sunroof) and 36.5 inches of legroom. You can fit up to 20 cubic feet of cargo behind the second row or 54.7 cubic feet of stuff with the back seats folded down.

The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek has a number of luxury features. Every model has automatic climate control, at least one USB port in the front, and as a new feature for 2024, a dual touch-screen infotainment system.
